GENERAL OVERVIEW: For a small commercial construction company, coordinate and administer migration of data and processes from existing systems to Procore, a cloud-based construction project management software. Your primary role will be to ensure a smooth and successful transition, enabling the organization to leverage the full potential of Procore’s features and functionalities. You will collaborate with our IT professional, company staff, project managers, end-users, to plan, execute, and administer the complete migration process.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
- Migration Planning: – Conduct a thorough assessment of existing systems and data to determine migration requirements and priorities. Develop a comprehensive migration plan, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation. Collaborate with stakeholders to define data mapping, data cleansing, and data transformation strategies. Identify potential risks and develop mitigation plans to ensure a seamless transition.
- Data Migration: Execute data migration activities, ensuring accuracy, integrity, and completeness of transferred data. Implement data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes to migrate data from existing systems to Procore. Validate and reconcile migrated data to ensure it aligns with the defined requirements. Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues during the migration process.
- User Training and Support: Provide training and documentation to end-users on using Procore effectively and efficiently. Address user questions, concerns, and issues related to the migration process. Collaborate with the Procore support team to resolve technical problems and optimize system performance. Conduct post-migration evaluations and gather feedback to identify areas for improvement.
- Documentation and Reporting: Ensure comprehensive documentation of migration processes, including procedures, configurations, and system modifications. Generate reports on migration status, data quality, and key performance indicators. Provide recommendations for process improvements and best practices based on migration outcomes.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Proven experience in successful Procore data migration within the construction industry. Strong knowledge of Procore or other construction project management software. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field preferred.
