In a moment of celebration, D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser paid a special visit on July 28, 2023 to the construction site of DCPS newest high school, MacArthur. She applauded the remarkable efforts of WKM Solutions. She has been a driving force behind initiatives aimed at supporting Latino businesses and improving the educational opportunities for students.
When WKM Solutions took on the challenge of renovating MacArthur High School, WKM understood the weight of the responsibility entrusted to us from the Ward 3 community. The company recognized that the success of this project would not only impact the physical infrastructure of the school but also play a vital role in shaping the educational journey of the new students who eagerly await the unveiling of the new facilities.
As the construction progressed, WKM poured our expertise and passion into every aspect of the renovation. The result will be a modern educational institution that would inspire and motivate students, creating an optimal learning environment. Our Teams commitment to quality and dedication to meeting deadlines are evident throughout the construction process. This project has a short deadline due before the first day of school on August 28 and the aim is to create a comfortable environment for the additional 200 first year students and 50 sophomores to come. The goal of this renovation is to help alleviate the overcrowding pressures at Jackson-Reed High School and enroll from Alice Deal Middle School and Oyster Adams Education Campus.
