The Matos brothers have worked diligently on new construction and remodeling residential and commercial buildings. For the past 13 years, the principals have worked on all areas of renovation and design-build for DGS with great emphasis on DC Public Schools and in the State of Maryland. They have acquired great experience in planning and delivering fast track summer projects along with emergency On-Call response services. WKM has provided services for many DC agencies, such as DC Public Schools, Dept. of General Services (DGS), DC Public Library (DPL), Department of Recs (DPR) and DC Dept. of Youth Rehabilitation Services and in Maryland as well, Prince Georges County Public School (PGCPS), Frederick County, and Montgomery County...

WKM Solutions is familiar with the local requirements, codes, licenses and process needed to keep the job site functioning properly. WKM knows the jobs must be completed quickly and is prepared to meet any given deadlines. In 2015, WKM were awarded roughly $2,200,000.00 in contracts from DGS; roughly $4,000,000.00 in 2016 and roughly $7,000,000.00 in 2017. All work has been completed on time and on budget. The multiple current On-call services contract are still ongoing. It’s WKM policy to be prompted to respond to any task assigned by our client and we always avoid change orders and schedule delays.
WKM Solutions' primary goal of meeting customers' construction needs through successful relationships with owner management teams is evidenced by our expanding base of repeat clients. WKM offers preconstruction services, job site and project management, administrative support, and document control. WKM evaluates projects for constructability, provides cost estimates, helps maintain project scheduling, and works with owners to meet quality and time objectives.
WKM also suggests cost effective means of construction and help select the best subcontractors for each project. Once a project has begun, WKM Solutions maintains full-time superintendents who are responsible for all daily logs, reviewing quality and timeliness of subcontractors, conducting safety meetings and maintaining good communications with the client.
WKM owners have over 13 years of experience in project management and we only work with the most competent and experienced subcontractors, offering apprenticeship and internship opportunities.
